Scope
ON JUNE 30, 2023, HAMBURG HOSTED THE 1ST INTERNATIONAL SCHÜLKE INFECTION PREVENTION SYMPOSIUM.
The event attracted an international schülke scientific team and brought together guests and speakers from more than 9 countries at the Steigenberger Hotel Treudelberg in the north of the city. Hundreds of participants from all over the world also took part in the online version of the symposium.
Challenge
THE SYMPOSIUM AIMED TO BRIDGE THE GAP BETWEEN PHYSICAL ATTENDANCE AND VIRTUAL PARTICIPATION.
The challenge was to create a seamless connection between the two worlds and ensure that both in-person and online participants had an equal experience.
IMPLEMENTATION
DIGITAL INNOVATION AND INTERACTION
The event was designed to actively involve both in-person and online participants. By integrating digital platforms and interactive elements, discussions, presentations and opportunities for exchange were created that transcended the boundaries between physical and virtual.
Feedback
THE SYMPOSIUM WAS A SUCCESS, WITH 110 PARTICIPANTS ON SITE AND A BROAD ONLINE PARTICIPATION.
The combination of lectures and discussions, complemented by informal meetings and culinary experiences, was positively evaluated. The event was praised for providing both expertise and informal interaction and meeting the expectations of the participants.
